Village at the Timbers

As a whole, it is a quiet community and I personally have not had any complaints about noise, I feel pretty safe living here. The staff is amazing, super friendly, and helpful. Throughout the year, they organize giveaways, resident breakfasts, bbqs at the pool, and other events and have created a pleasant environment for residents. The apartment's condition and floor plan is great, everything is in working condition, but the kitchen is on the smaller side. I have heard it's very easy to submit a maintenance request through the portal and they get back to you relatively quickly as well. I will say, as expected, with the complex being on Nord Ave it tends to get fairly busy around 5-7 pm with rush hour traffic. Also, wouldn't exactly recommend leaving bikes outside/on the bike racks as bike theft is common in Chico and I have had mine stolen, unfortunately. But other than that I highly recommend if you're looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment.

assigned spots but the gated parking is a plus. As far as the inside of the apartments, the bedrooms are very spacious and have a huge walk in closet which is nice. I also appreciate that they are pet friendly and even have a little dog park and a pool. Overall, I’d definitely recommend living here!

more than can be said for past places. The cons are minor and common to living on Nord, it’s a little loud (but I swear you do get used to the train) and parking can be scarce (but the gated parking makes the extra walk to your apartment worth it). If you’re looking for somewhere within walking distance of Chico State and downtown that’s safe and clean and has actually nice people working for them, I’d recommend with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

to another property owned by rcmi, and Jodi made sure everything was easy. Moved back because of how easy going and quiet this community is for college students, young adults, and small families. Any complaints or issues I had moving in Mahri and Garth (maintance) made sure to get it done right away!

priced, but it's not student-only housing. Definitely recommend. :)
