is friendly, kind, hardworking, and looks for the best and fastest way to solve your problems. I could not recommend it more for really good housing when attending UVU. Best student housing around.
see moreseal on our fridge door started coming off and got worse and worse each time we opened the door. A request was immediately put in and marked as “completed” a few days later. I was home the whole day after I got that text….no one ever came and unsurprisingly, it wasn’t fixed. It wasn’t until I submitted the third maintenance about this same issue that I left a stern message and someone finally came. I feel like I have to be a Karen in order for my own apartment that I’m paying for to be fixed. A more serious issue that happened was something in the water heating closet was broken and it made an extremely loud clicking sound on and off all day and night for months. With the way our room is set up, my bed is right next to the door of this room. Needless to say I lost hours of sleep, both me and my bedroom roomie had to be Karens more than once to the office just for them to care enough to even look at it. Turns out the problem was such an issue that they had to bring in an extended gas and plumbing team to fix it, and a new part had to be ordered (I only knew about that last part of information because I bugged them, they didn’t send an update email or anything before then). So I had to wait an additional three weeks for the part to come in, after this issue was already existing for seven months and at least 3-4 requests were ignored. Not to mention, the people who own these apartments are scum bags who will drain you of every cent possible. My rent was one hour late one month because I thought my credit card was stolen for a few days. Turns out I just lost it and found it on the day rent was due, but by that point it was already shut off and because of that it was no longer in my auto charge option, and I didn’t have it back in my possession until an hour after rent was due….I was charged a $40 late fee and it was decided that they couldn’t fix it after explaining my situation….no compassion or empathy, and they try to gaslight you into believing the issues you have in your apartment don’t exist. Don’t even get me started with the mold. There was no mold kit used to test the substance and it was just declared as “dirt”. These people don’t care about you, don’t believe their “helpful” comments they leave on these reviews.
see moreand dirty countertops. Place had a weird distinct smell to it all year round. I was always embarrassed to bring people over because of how bad it was. Management doesn’t do anything to help you, and they’ll keep your deposit and charge cleaning fees for things YOU cleaned. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LIVE HERE!!
see moreand she said the issue wasn't resolved and she is unable to help me. Katie will not be back in the office until Monday. I verified earlier this week that the only check you have for him is the one that deducted 3/4 of his deposit for late rent that was not late. It was in fact paid a month in advance. In addition to this, you rented out his room after he left, before his lease was up. That is fine for you to do when he has moved out, but it is strange that you would continue to charge him rent when you clearly were already paid by him and are receiving rent from a new tenant in his old room. Also, you have 30 days from the date he moves out to return his deposit according to Utah State Law. He moved out at the end of June. You were paid the final lease buyout amount at the beginning of July. Y'all have a great day now. Original review: Based on our experience, others we know, and online reviews, it sounds like this place engages in predatory rental practices preying on young college kids. My son moved out 6 weeks early. We paid the small fortune to buy out his lease. They sent him delinquent rent notices the next month with added fees. They have 30 days in the state of Utah to return his deposit. It's been 7 weeks. They recently sent a move out statement that deducted 75% of his deposit for late rent. We reached out to them multiple times trying to get this resolved. Katie the manager isn't responding to emails anymore. She did previously when I asked for details about the buyout. Suddenly now she's non responsive. My son and I have left voicemails and sent messages with no response. I looked up their parent company, Redstone Residential, in the hopes that they could help. Looks like they might be the root of the problem. I would do your homework before you sign a lease here.
see morewas closed due to renovations. They say they respond to messages well, that you can text them, I don't get a reply from the texts unless they text first, and messages through the portal are a hit or a miss if they reply. If you message them through the portal with the reason for contact being complaint they won't reply, probably don't look at it. Their emails are not sent to all the residents and they've been made aware of the fact multiple times. Sometimes I wonder if they're not fixing it so they can say "we sent out an email" when it come to important information, especially when it comes to renewing early for a lower rent. The hot tub is closed the majority of the time, if it is open only the bottom jets work and the dial on the wall does nothing. They'll double charge utilities and other fees, hasn't happened to me but I've heard multiple people have this problem. Another note on AC, the shuttle does not have working AC, it's incredibly hot and I feel terrible for the drivers. They don't clean the laundry facility, multiple times it has been a resident who took it upon themselves to do so. The phrase "landlord special" can be applied to their recent renovations, but it seems to differ from unit to unit, and I'm not talking about resident damage, but paint on light switches, unsealed windows, etc. They won't respond to certain maintenance requests, seems to differ from building to building. I can't pay my rent online because my resident account is on a security hold, but I also don't get told why it's on a security hold. I've never paid my rent late so that can't be the reason for the hold. The patio was not made with drains or slopped for rain runoff, one of the firepits constantly has water in it. I've heard stories about the office losing checks/cash, never had it happen to me, don't know if that's an excuse people use but I've heard it enough times to be cautious. I've also heard interesting stories about base rent pricing, if you look at contracts being sold online you can see the pricing is all over the place. Also twenty five dollars a month for a parking pass is insane! If you can look past management the apartments are spacious, I saw another review saying you can't fit a desk in the room, I've fit two at one time before. Closet space is nice but unfortunately open. Wifi NEEDS a router even for one laptop to do homework up to speed, which to me is insane. Every Wifi has the same password so anyone can hop onto your apartment's Wifi when theirs is slow and then it slows yours down. Mind you, you have to pay for said wifi that does not work most of the time. This is a headache when it comes to devices that need a wifi connection like a printer and even the TV they hung up.

see morequiet and really safe area with great people! Public transit is amazing around here with the frontrunner station just a 2 minute drive away and a bus stop right in front of the apartments.
see moreis right next to UVU and the freeway, so getting to work doesn’t take forever. And you cannot hear the freeway. Most people that live here are in their low twenties. Only complaints are that the coin laundry is expensive and fridge is a little tight.
