Absolutely LOVE living at University View, Abs and her faculty crew are literally so nice I sometimes forget they’re not just my friends but also helpful resources for the very limited amount of issues that may arise throughout your college experience living here. From the friendly greetings when you walk

through the lobby doors to the extravagent free events like free food Friday (pictured) you will absolutely thank your lucky stars you didn’t sign a contract else where.

The only reason I’m giving more than 1 star is because of my roommates. I made some amazing friends and the social aspect was great, but in regards to the complex itself I would not particularly recommend. Half the time our shower didn’t work, things were breaking consistently and it

took an arm and a leg to get people to come fix it. Pray for apt parking because the waitlist is always a mile long, so bank on getting overflow campus parking. They flex their location in relation to campus, but there are numerous places for cheaper that are just as close if not closer. Management was alright. Overall for what you’re getting it’s just not worth the price.

I loved living here at University View! The management is so nice and very helpful. You can ask them any questions and they will help you right away. They are easy to work with and very understanding. There are also fun lounge rooms and games for all. The apartments are

nice and lots of storage! It also has a great ward! Overall such a great apartment complex, would totally recommend!

Updated Review: The manager reached out to me and was very kind and helpful as usual. Unfortunately, there is not much she or management can do to fix the issues regarding the poor-quality appliances and just issues relating to a few things not working in the apartment complex. I can only

tell them so much before they stop listening to me because they can't physically come to my apartment and fix the stove, or remove the mold, fix the fridge, or microwave. For example, our microwave doesn't work(they fixed a lightbulb though) but it still doesn't work properly, the stove does not work properly and the oven burns our food. It is so bad sometimes we feel the apartment complex fire alarm will go off. I wish they had replaced the essentials before they gave us Televisions. Nobody in our apartment uses the Television anyway. I almost forgot to mention that while living in apartment 2314 the roof was falling apart from water damage. While showering little parts of the roof would fall on us. It took a while to be fixed but when they did fix it, the roof was still problematic. The gym had the same issue. Management is great (The ladies at the front desk), they are one of the reasons besides my friends that I chose to stay in this building. They are always making sure to the best of their abilities that tenants are having a good experience while living at University View. It is also very affordable, you get what you pay for I guess. Also, lock your apartment or some of your belongings will go missing.

Was walking by one day (I have never lived at this complex) but I noticed how good the grass looked. Perfectly edged, whipped and mowed. Not a weed in sight. Shout out to the grounds crew. Made my whole day! They really take pride in the quality of grass.

Poor management, Would not live here again, Run down
Worst management that lies to get more contract sales. They are the most unprofessional people, complaining about residents in front of residents. Not enough parking, nothing has been updated, attracts residents who are homebodies and keep to themselves. Overpriced for what you get. But a very functional apartment for 6

people.

The management only cares about their personal image and will not listen or respond to you.

They will make you wait long periods of time to even be seen. Emails are brief and never resolve the issues at hand. Worst management I’ve EVER encountered.

Everything is old and breaking. All the appliances don’t match and break often. Maintenance is always

grumpy. I do feel like it is a very functional apartment space wise. When there are 6 people the kitchen is tight. The carpet is super old and needs to be changed. The couches are very uncomfortable and small.

Poor management, Would not live here again, Bad maintenance
I lived here my first semester as a student at BYUI. I will honestly say that I got out as fast as I could and it could not have been soon enough. I had problems with poor management, terrible maintenance, and awful roommates.

My apartment was riddled with maintenence issues that were never fixed. Likewise, management took every available

opportunity to try and screw me over. After several weeks of living in my apartment, they tried to make me move into an apartment with a "service" cat despite me telling them over and over I am allergic. They demanded I show them proof of my allergies and I told them they needed to first prove that the cat was a legally licensed "service" cat. (They don't exist.) After that, they tried to charge me for damages to the apartment that are considered "usual wear and tear" under Idaho State's renter's rights. They only took those charges off when I threatened them with legal action.

The apartments are dated and the hallways and apartments are dirty and noisy. The quality was

surprisingly bad for the cost.
